Instructions for Presenters of PSE Asia 2020 Webinar
Oral Presentations
- The allocated time for the talks are as follows:
Type Presentation Plenary 30-40 minutes Keynote 20-30 minutes Regular 10-20 minutes - All presentations video should be in mp4 format. The recommended resolution is either 1920x1080 (FHD) or 1280x720 (HD).
- All presenters are requested to upload presentation video before 30 September via This Page
- Speakers can use any method to record their presentations (10-20 min for regular presentation; 20-30 min for keynote presentation; 30-40 min for plenary presentation).
- It is suggested that the presenters should hide sensitive/confidential data and use copyrighted materials in the presentation.
Guidelines for Session Chairs
- The uploaded video presentations will be categorized into several sessions. Each session will be “hosted” by one or two chairs.
- The chairs can help to raise questions in case of not many questions from the audience.
Asynchronous Webinar Conference
- During the asynchronous webinar conference period (10:00 4th Nov – 17:00 6th Nov, Taipei Time Zone), all registered participants can go to the website (will be announced soon) to “attend” any session and watch all video presentations at any time.
- Attendees can accelerate, playback, skip ahead or repeat any part of any presentation. However, downloading and capturing of videos will be prohibited.
- Attendees can leave questions and the server will send an e-mail immediately to the presenter and session chairs to invite presenters to answer the questions.
- The Q and A will be open to ALL participants. But one might have to wait a few minutes for the reply.
